Estate Planning and Financial Planning workshops at JCI

Free educational workshops for seniors and their caregivers will be held on Saturday, June 4 and June 18 from 2 pm to 3:30 pm at the Gardena Valley Japanese Cultural Institute, 1964 W. 162nd St, Gardena.

The workshop series is offered by Little Tokyo Service Center and will assist seniors and their adult children to start thinking about their post retirement benefits plans. Both events are free and open to the public. Parking is also free. Both programs will be presented in English with simultaneous interpretation in Japanese.

On Saturday, June 4, in partnership with UnionBank Investment Services, Warren Kim, Regional Vice President of the Retirement Division at Global Atlantic Financial Company, will help address your concerns in choosing the perfect Long Term Health Care plan for you. Mr. Kim will answer common questions, such as When should I purchase a Long Term Care Insurance Plan? and What will it cover?

Are you retired, or do you plan to retire soon? How does Social Security work? When is the best time to begin receiving Social Security benefits? We understand that retirement today versus twenty years ago has changed dramatically. On Saturday, June 18, Stephen Suzuki, Assistant Vice President and Senior Portfolio Advisor of Merrill Lynch, will answer your questions regarding health care and financial planning for the retirees of today. In addition, Matthew Kubota, Vice President and Financial Advisor Consultant at American Century Investments will explain how Social Security and your Retirement work.

Job Description:

The mission of the role is to support the Director of Financial Planning amp; Analysis in preparing accurate financial reports and help develop, implement and review financial models.
The position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The key responsibilities of the role includes:
-Analysis of monthly enrolment, Pamp;L and cash flows, including variances versus expected operating performance
-Assist the FPamp;A Director with the preparation of the Annual Budget and the Long Range Plan
-Assist the FPamp;A Director with the production of Capex investment proposals, prepare and deliver ad-hoc analysis amp; presentations on financial position to both regional and corporate teams
-Detailed commentary on management accounts comparing to budget, forecasts etc.
-Collaborate with other teams such as treasury in preparing analysis for both regional and corporate finance team
-Maintenance of the finance database and ensuring its accuracy and integrity
-Perform other finance and analytical duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time

-Must have transferable iqama or willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia
-Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
-Post qualification experience preferable CPA/CFA/CIMA/ACCA/CA.
-3-5 years of experience in a similar role
-Good analytical and problem solving abilities
-Proficient in MSOffice, Oracle.
-The successful candidate will be a top performer in their current field of either practice or business
